Foster request‼️Tasha can come from Kuwait in June if she gets a firm foster or foster to adopt commitment. The applicant must be in the Northern VA/DC metro area. Below is a description from her rescuer:Tasha is a beautiful one year old girl. She currently lives with two female cats and occasionally meets a resident male cat. She is ok with everyone and tolerates them, but she can get a little bossy too; she is the first one to eat and she likes to have a hold of the toys first. She can be bossed around by a cat stronger than her and she will boss cats weaker than her. She is very intelligent, she understood how to get on the window hammock just by imitating one of the other cats. When food is poured, she makes the dry food flow faster by pushing it with her head.She likes to be held, but on her own terms. She comes to say hello as soon as she sees humans. She loves to be on the window hammock to spy on all behind the curtains and to watch the neighborhood. She loves chicken wet food and can be very talkative when cans are opened. The volunteer team at Petco Manassas is incredibly motivated to help Baby (black DSH) and Mitzi (grey DSH) find their home. These lovely ladies have been living outside for 10 years (!!) and we decided it was about time to give these adorably sweet girls a taste of the good indoor life. Now that they are indoors at Petco – they are starting to understand how wonderful the second half of their life is about to become - can you help us bring them to their amazing future?? What you can expect from Baby and Mitzi. They will be shy but so thankful for your love and gentle patience. Each day, they will open up more and more and we think that Baby will be the first to be snoozing in your lap and Mitzi will follow her lead shortly after. We think while you sleep – they will start playing with toys and expressing to each other “How did we get so lucky!!”. Together they will be the most thankful and wonderful pets. Both girls have estimated birthdates of March 2014. They are spayed, current on vaccines, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and has been microchipped.
