A Letter from Sir Henry Thomas' Mom
Hello 4 Paws,
When we walked into the store and saw Henry in the cage awaiting adoption, my husband who doesn't really like animals, just melted. Henry really chose us. He seemed to watch us as we shopped and meowed when we left. My husband wanted to take Henry home that day. Two weeks later, Henry came home with us. We just couldn't believe this wonderful kitty had no one else trying to adopt him.
From the first moment he walked into the house, he made it his own. He sprawled on the floor unafraid of the 50 lb border collie who wanted to play with him like a chew toy. He seemed to fit in just like he had always been there. He loved the chaos of family and pets. Henry loves the big windows where he watches the birds and squirrels at the feeders. As for the other pets.... Even though the other cat despises him, Henry isn't a bit daunted and still tries to make friends with the growling and hissing Midnight. We are a bit careful with the bunny since Henry outweighs the dwarf rabbit by several pounds. Henry runs to meet us at the door when we come home. He gives me a hug every day. We are so glad Henry came to stay.
