This little lady came to 4Paws from BARCS, a Baltimore shelter. Buska was brought to the shelter as an owner surrender when her owner fell ill and was unable to continue to care for her. According to her previous family, Buska was abused as a kitten (prior to them adopting her). Like most cats, Buska takes a little time to get used to new surroundings. While she might keep to herself at first, she quickly gets attached to those around her. In no time at all she will be waiting near the door when you get home.
Buska has a strong personality. She will let you know when it’s time to pet her--usually by brushing against you or with a little head bump. She will also use little meows and squeaks that are incredibly adorable and will melt your heart. When her foster mom works at home, Buska likes to come under the table and brush against her legs and feet, with lots of purring!
A quiet home without small children or any other pets would be ideal for Buska. This girl wants all the attention focused on her! She would be an excellent companion and friend.
Buska is spayed, current on rabies & distemper vaccinations, tested negative for FIV & feline leukemia, and has been micro chipped. Buska was born February 2011.
