Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine
The Cornell Feline Health Center, located in Ithaca, New York, is a veterinary medical specialty center devoted to improving the health and well-being of cats throughout the world.

The concept of a feline medical specialty center began in 1973 as part of a long-range planning effort at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. In reviewing the present and anticipated future of veterinary medicine as it related to the cat, it was obvious that a concerted effort was needed to work on the many serious diseases of cats. The Board of Trustees of Cornell University approved the formation of the center in 1974.

People With Pets.com
People With Pets is a site dedicated to helping pet owners find housing and other services. It was founded in 1997 following a dream of owner Alex Dobrow.

Alex's family owned a 120-pound German Pincher for 15 years, which inspired People With Pets. We found it nearly impossible to find decent accommodations that would allow us to have him. I, like many other pet people, would rather live on the street then part with my best friend. Being and apartment locator for several years, I noticed that many pet lovers were having the same difficulty as we had.

We started the company in the Atlanta area and as business grew we expanded to other major cities such as Raleigh-Durham, Orlando, and Dallas. Today over a million visitors later, we are still growing strong. We currently represent over 60 metropolitan cities across the country. All of our communities share the passion and the importance of our four-legged friends. Our goal is to have a place for everyone with People WithPets.

The Humane Society of the United States makes a difference in the lives of animals here at home and worldwide. The HSUS is dedicated to creating a world where our relationship with animals is guided by compassion.
